SHIPPING POLICY

THE BMX CONNECT

This Shipping Policy governs all orders placed with THE BMX CONNECT. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).

Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will be processed the next business day.

Custom builds, special-order BMX race bikes, or backordered items may require 5–10 additional business days for preparation.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.


2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, value, and destination.

Estimated U.S. delivery times:

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days

  • Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days

  • Complete BMX Bikes / Oversized Items: 5–10 business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. THE BMX CONNECT is not responsible for carrier delays, weather delays, mechanical failures, labor disruptions, or other events outside our control.


3. Risk of Loss & Title Transfer

All orders are shipped FOB Shipping Point.

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the order is delivered to the shipping carrier. THE BMX CONNECT is not liable for packages lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged after being transferred to the carrier.

If signature confirmation is required, delivery is considered complete once signed for at the delivery address.


4. Shipping Complete BMX Race Bikes

Complete BMX race bikes are shipped partially assembled for safety and transport purposes.

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Proper assembly

  • Torque specifications

  • Brake adjustment

  • Chain tension adjustment

  • Safety inspection prior to riding

Professional assembly by a qualified bicycle mechanic is strongly recommended.

THE BMX CONNECT is not responsible for damage, injury, or mechanical failure resulting from improper assembly or maintenance after delivery.

Oversized shipping fees may apply.

We do not ship complete bikes to P.O. Boxes.


5. Freight & High-Value Shipments

High-value orders may require:

  • Signature confirmation

  • Insurance

  • Adult signature upon delivery

Failure to be available for delivery may result in additional redelivery fees, which are the customer’s responsibility.


6. Damaged Shipments

If your package arrives visibly damaged:

  1. Note the damage with the carrier at delivery.

  2. Take clear photos of packaging and product.

  3. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to report damage within 48 hours may void eligibility for claims.

Retain all original packaging for carrier inspection.


7. Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows “Delivered,” THE BMX CONNECT is not responsible for stolen or missing packages.

Customers are responsible for providing a secure delivery location.

We will assist with carrier claims when applicable but do not guarantee reimbursement.


8. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information at checkout.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address:

  • The customer is responsible for reshipping fees.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.


9. Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to restrict shipping of certain oversized or high-value items.

Some products may only ship within the continental United States.


BMX LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

BMX racing and riding involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Falls

  • Collisions

  • Equipment failure

  • Serious injury or death

By purchasing a BMX race bike, frame, fork, handlebars, cranks, wheels, or related performance components from THE BMX CONNECT, you acknowledge and agree that:

  1. You assume all risks associated with BMX riding and racing.

  2. You are responsible for proper installation, inspection, and maintenance of all products.

  3. You will ensure all components are installed according to manufacturer specifications.

  4. You release, waive, and discharge THE BMX CONNECT from any and all liability for injury, death, or damages arising from the use or misuse of purchased products.

THE BMX CONNECT shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from product use.


10. Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available by appointment only at:
